Arden have signed Bruno Senna and Adrian Zaugg for the 2007 GP2 season. Senna was third in the 2006 F3 championship, while Zaugg raced in the Renault World Series, as well as driving for the South African A1GP team.
Toyota are in no hurry to renew Ralf Schumacher’s contract, interesting given that Toyota have one of the oldest driver line-ups in F1.
“I think both sides really want to wait until probably we’ve seen some races and he wants to see if we are good enough to provide a machine and I think then we’ll sit down and discuss,” said Toyota Motorsport president John Howett.
“At this stage I think we are both genuinely very relaxed about it.”
Ralf’s teammate Jarno Trulii, who is a year older than the German, signed a three-year extension to his contract last year.
