Pedro de la Rosa topped the testing times for McLaren as F1 testing resumed at Catalunya. Robert Kubica was second quickest for BMW Sauber, with Fernando Alonso third. Spyker’s Adrian Sutil, having his first proper run in the new car, rounded out the times in 18th.
Champ Car testing also resumed at the MSR Houston road course yesterday, with 2006 championship runner-up Justin Wilson setting the pace on a very wet track. Reigning champion Sebastien Bourdais was second quickest, with former champion Paul Tracy third. Robert Doornbos, making his Champ Car debut for Minardi Team USA, was an impressive fourth quickest.
