Former GP2 and A1GP driver Alexandre Prémat will drive for Audi in DTM in 2007. The French driver, who recently tested for the Conquest Champ Car team following a largely unsuccessful season in GP2 in 2006, joins Lucas Luhr, Mike Rockenfeller, Tom Kristensen, Timo Scheider, Vanina Ickx and Mattias Ekstrom as Audi drivers.
Racing Engineering have dropped their highly successful Spanish F3 operation to concentrate solely on GP2 in 2007, after a lacklustre 2006 season. The Spanish team are yet to announce a teammate for Javi Villa.
