Team New Zealand’s Jonny Reid topped the times in practice for this weekend’s A1Gp in Mexico, ahead of Team GBR’s Oliver Jarvis and Team Germany’s Christian Vietoris, impressing on his first outing filling in for championship leader Nico Hülkenberg with a fastest time just 0.070s down on Reid. Jean Karl Vernay, making his début for Team France, was 11th quickest, while Marcel Fassler, standing in for an unwell Neel Jani at Team Switzerland, was 14th.
