The FIA has modified its bodywork tests after McLaren requested clarification over Ferrari’s sprung floor mounting system. The system is also believed to be used by BMW Sauber.
BMW Sauber driver Robert Kubica topped the times in the first day of testing at Sepang today, ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and Alex Wurz for Williams. All the teams bar Spyker are testing this week and Anthony Davidson, who was injured in Australia, will return to the cockpit tomorrow.
