Following Renault boss Flavio Briatore’s criticism of F1 recently, FIA President Max Mosley says it’s all under control.
“We’ve got four of the top teams working together to see if they can improve the situation,” Mosley is quoted as saying by the Bridgestone Motorsport website.
“It remains to be seen whether they’ll succeed, but if they don’t we’ll probably do something really radical in 2010.”
Is it too much to hope for a ban on refuelling and the return of slick tyres?
Williams have suffered another disastrous day of testing in Barcelona after Nico Rosberg crashed heavily this morning. Rosberg was taken to the circuit medical centre and then to hospital. Test driver Kazuki Nakajima crashed the car yesterday.
ART’s Michael Ammermüller has had a successful operation on the wrist he broke in Bahrain in a collision with Kazuki Nakajima. The German driver is now training to be ready to race again in Spain in two weeks.
