iSport’s Timo Glock has taken pole position for tomorrow’s GP2 race at Magny Cours, ahead of teammate Andreas Zuber, Arden’s Bruno Senna and ART’s Lucas di Grassi. Returnees Adam Carroll and Ernesto Viso qualified fourteenth and nineteenth respectively.

BMW Sauber driver Robert Kubica has passed his FIA-mandated medical and will race at Magny Cours.
“I’m 100 percent fit,” said the 22-year-old driver, who missed the last US Grand Prix after an horrific crash in Canada on June 10.

Adam Carroll and Ernesto Viso will both return to the GP2 series at Magny Cours this weekend, following the departure of Antonio Pizzonia and Sergio Jimenez from FMSI and Racing Engineering respectively. Lewis Hamilton took pole in qualifying at Indianapolis yesterday, ahead of McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso and the Ferrari duo of Felipe Massa and Kimi Räikkönen. Nick Heidfeld took his BMW Sauber to fifth as Heikki Kovalainen continued his rehabilitation with a strong sixth place, while rookie Sebastien Vettel was seventh.

BMW Sauber test driver Sebastien Vettel will replace Robert Kubica for this weekend’s GP at Indianapolis, after the Pole was declared unfit to race by the FIA following his huge crash in Canada last weekend. 19-year old Vettel is racing in World Series by Renault this season.
