The news that McLaren will not be appealing their exclusion from the Constructor’s Championship and their record $100 million fine means that, hopefully, ’spygate’ is now over, at least as far as the FIA are concerned. Fingers crossed for a return to racing rather than courtrooms.

1995 World Rally champion Colin McRae has died in a helicopter accident near his home in Lanarkshire. McRae’s son Johnny, another child and a family friend were also killed.
The Twin Squirrel helicopter which McRae owned came down about 4.10pm, bursting into flames and starting a massive fire.
