Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone have made a bid to take over football club QPR.

Briatore told the club website: “Bernie and I were delighted to receive a recommendation from the QPR board for our bid for the club.”

Bernie will reportedly spend £15 million in share acquisition - a drop in the ocean for him, surely
