Kimi Raikkonen has taken his third consecutive victory at Spa, ahead of Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa and the McLaren duo of Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. Nick Heidfeld finished fifth for BMW Sauber, with Nico Rosberg sixth for Williams.
With three races left in the 2007 championship, Lewis Hamilton leads Alonso by just two points, with Raikkonen just eleven points further back. McLaren’s exclusion from the constructor’s championship has handed the win to Ferrari, ahead of BMW Sauber and reigning champion Renault.
Karun Chandhok took his maiden GP2 victory at Spa today. The Durango driver won from DPR’s Andy Soucek and ART’s Lucas di Grassi. Championship leader Timo Glock was taken out by Ricardo Risatti on the warm-up lap, and hence the championship goes into the final round at Valencia with just two points spearating Glock and di Grassi.
