Lewis Hamilton has taken pole position for tomorrow’s Chinese Grand Prix, ahead of the Ferrari duo of Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. Hamilton’s teammate Fernando Alonso was fourth quickest, ahead of Red Bull’s David Coulthard.

Stewards in China have declined to take action against Fuji winner Lewis Hamilton following his alleged erratic driving behind the safety car last weekend. Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Vettel, who was docked 10 grid places for his part in a collision with Red Bull’s Mark Webber, had his punishment overturned and replaced with a reprimand.

Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen was fastest in final practice for this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix, ahead of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. Championship leader Lewis Hamilton was fourth quickest, ahead of Jarno Trulli and Mark Webber.

GP2 testing got underway at Jerez today, and Adam Carroll went fastest in his first outing for iSport. Carroll is certainly in demand, as tomorrow he will test for Piquet Sports.

Race stewards in China are investigating Lewis Hamilton’s Fuji victory after Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost complained to them on the basis on a Youtube video of the Webber/Vettel incident.
