James Jakes will join Nico Hülkenberg at ART/ASM for the F3 Euroseries in 2008, along with Formula Renault graduates Jules Bianchi and Jon Lancaster.

ART boss Frederic Vasseur said he was happy with the line-up, which features two drivers who have already won races in F3.

“With Nico and James, we’ve got two drivers with Formula Three experience under their belts,” he said. “This will be particularly vital next year, as the season will be contested with new cars.

The team, under its previous incarnation as ASM, has won the Euroseries title for the last four years.

The company behind the short-lived GP Masters series has been wound up at the High Court in London. The series, featuring veteran F1 drivers, ran for just three races.
