Loïc Duval took his maiden A1GP victory for Team France in the sprint race at Eastern Creek today, in what may well be his last A1 race. Jonny Reid (New Zealand) and Robert Wickens (Canada) completed the podium positions.

An eventful feature race was won by South Africa’s Adrian Zaugg, ahead of Neel Jani (Switzerland) and Robbie Kerr (Great Britain).

France and New Zealand are now tied at the top of the championship table with 96 points, with Switzerland 3 points behind. Reigning champions Germany are fifth with 77 points after a low-key weekend for Michael Ammermüller.
