Series veteran Giorgio Pantano got his 2008 GP2 season off to a good start by setting the fastest time of this week’s pre-season test at Barcelona. The Racing Engineering driver beat the time set earlier in the day by iSport’s Bruno Senna. The final pre-season test will be held at the Paul Ricard circuit next week.

F1 refugee Scott Speed is set to make his NASCAR debut next week at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Speed will combine a limited number of races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with the ARCA RE/MAX Series.
