Felipe Massa took pole position today for tomorrow’s Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang, while teammate Kimi Raikkonen made it an all-Ferrari front row. McLaren drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton were third and fourth but have been summoned to the stewards after Nick Heidfeld and Fernando Alonso complained of being blocked on their flying laps. Jarno Trulli was a surprising fifth quickest for Toyota.

Vitaly Petrov won his first GP2 Asia Series victory at Sepang today, as rain created chaos among many of the favourites and the race had to be red-flagged and restarted. Bruno Senna went off in both segments of the race, while Romain Grosjean stalled on the first grid and was then slowed by incidents in the second segment but collected a point for fastest lap and maintains his lead of the series.
