Neel Jani put A1GP Team Switzerland on pole for both sprint and feature races at Shanghai. Portugal’s Filipe Albuquerque lines up second for the sprint race, ahead of Robert Wickens for Team Canada, while Jonathan Summerton put Team USA in second for the feature race ahead of Albuquerque.

Nico Hülkenberg set the fastest time at the final pre-season test before the 2008 F3 Euroseries kicks off at Hockenheim this weekend. The ART driver was quickest ahead of Prema teammates Renger van der Zande and Charlie Kimball. Hülkenberg’s teammate James Jakes was fourth quickest.

Romain Grosjean has won the inaugural GP2 Asia championship, despite not finishing today’s sprint race in Sakhir. Grosjean was forced to retire from the race however his point for fastest lap was enough to secure the title.
Kamui Kobayashi won the race, ahead of Sébastien Buemi and Vitaly Petrov.

Robert Kubica will start tomorrow’s Bahrain Grand Prix from pole position after the BMW Sauber driver just edged out Ferrari’s Felipe Massa in qualifying today. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton starts third, with Kimi Raikkonen fourth.
