Heikki Kovalainen took his first F1 win at the Hungaroring today after Felipe Massa’s Ferrari expired just three laps from the chequered flag. Massa had jumped both McLarens at the start and maintained his lead throughout the race but his retirement - and Kimi Raikkonen’s third place - have demoted him to third in the drivers’ championship. Timo Glock had a superb race for Toyota, finishing second and nearly six seconds ahead of Raikkonen at the flag.
