Vitaly Petrov took a feature race victory yesterday in Valencia, as title contenders Giorgio Pantano and Bruno Senna both ran out of fuel on the last lap of the race. Pastor Maldonado finished second, with Romain Grosjean third.

Lucas di Grassi took the sprint race win this morning, ahead of Luca Filippi who was involved in a controversial incident with Grosjean that saw the Frenchman retire from the race. Jerome d’Ambrosio finished third, while series leader Giorgio Pantano was fourth.
