The FIA has issued a statement condemning comments left on a Spanish website regarding Lewis Hamilton’s championship bid.
“The FIA’s position is very clear. Discrimination and prejudice can have no place in sport or society. Everyone in our sport will join us in condemning these abusive and hateful comments,” an FIA spokesman said.

BMW have confirmed Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica as their drivers for the 2009 F1 championship, with Christian Klien continuing as their test driver.
