2007 winner Nico Hülkenberg took pole for tomorrow’s F3 Masters race at Zolder in the closing seconds of this afternoon’s qualifying shoot-out. The German driver beat ART teammate Jules Bianchi by less than three tenths of a second. Renger van der Zande (Prema) and Koudai Tsukakoshi (Manor) take the second row.

Qualifying got underway at Zolder this morning for tomorrow’s F3 Masters race, with Nico Hülkenberg (ART) and Mika Mäki (Mücke Motorsport) setting the pace. Qualifying was split into two sessions, for odd and even-numbered cars, with the top ten from each session going into this afternoon’s Group A shoot-out for the top twenty grid positions.

Jon Lancaster took his first F3 Euroseries win at the Nurburgring today, ahead of Niall Breen and Jules Bianchi. The British driver, who started from second on the grid, took the lead from Breen at the first corner and held it throughout the 28 lap race.

Nico Hülkenberg started to get his 2008 championship back on track today with an emphatic win at the Nurburgring after polesitter Christian Vietoris stalled on the grid. ART teammate Jules Bianchi was second, ahead of series returnee Tom Dillmann. Edoardo Mortara, the points leader, retired from the race.
