ART driver Romain Grosjean took pole position for tomorrow’s GP2 race at the Hungaroring, ahead of Andi Zuber and series returnee Lucas di Grassi, while championship rivals Giorgio Pantano and Bruno Senna qualified seventh and eighth.

Heikki Kovalainen put his McLaren on pole for tomorrow’s British GP at Silverstone this afternoon, ahead of Mark Webber’s Red Bull and Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari. Kovalainen’s teammate Lewis Hamilton was fourth quickest, ahead of Nick Heidfeld in the leading BMW Sauber.
It was Kovalainen’s maiden pole position.

Giorgio Pantano took pole for tomorrow’s GP2 feature race in Istanbul, ahead of Andi Zuber and series veteran Adam Carroll, who qualified third on the grid despite only having been called up by FMS at the last minute to replace Adrian Valles. Romain Grosjean starts alongside Carroll.

Romain Grosjean has won the inaugural GP2 Asia championship, despite not finishing today’s sprint race in Sakhir. Grosjean was forced to retire from the race however his point for fastest lap was enough to secure the title.
Kamui Kobayashi won the race, ahead of Sébastien Buemi and Vitaly Petrov.

Robert Kubica will start tomorrow’s Bahrain Grand Prix from pole position after the BMW Sauber driver just edged out Ferrari’s Felipe Massa in qualifying today. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton starts third, with Kimi Raikkonen fourth.
